| SYNOPSIS:
Imagine a world stripped of its soul—where the radio falls dead silent, paintings vanish from the walls, and the world’s most cherished artistic masterpieces are stolen by corporate greed while their true creators die in poverty. In 1954, Arthur Knevone (60)—a soft-spoken prairie farmer and secret literary prodigy—carries a monumental lineage. He is a direct descendant of Edmund Spenser, the Elizabethan court poet who authored The Faerie Queene. To protect his family’s identity, Arthur publishes under his legal pen name: AUTHOR UNKNOWN. Bound by his devotion to his pragmatic wife, Joan, and struggling to keep their family farm afloat, Arthur pours his soul into timeless stanzas by lamplight. Alongside his passionate, musician son, Junior (30), the pair adapt Arthur’s courtly greeting card verses and love poems into country-blues songs. Among these works is the original, heartfelt stanza that would go on to shape modern music history: “Roses Are Red.” Yet, their quiet genius catches the eye of Jacob Willoughby Crook (40), a predatory music publisher. Exploiting the family’s desperation, Crook swindles the Knevone’s out of their money and multi-century legacy, forging Arthur’s signature on a predatory contract that robs them of every penny. While Crook builds a Manhattan empire on stolen art, Arthur and Junior are pushed to the brink of financial ruin, watching their life’s work enrich a tyrant while their home crumbles. Tragedy strikes when Arthur and Joan (59) pass away near poverty, leaving their seven children to pick up the broken pieces. Broken and betrayed, Junior confronts Crook in an alcohol-fueled business meeting that descends into absolute chaos, ending in second-degree murder. Rising from the ashes of her family’s grief comes Liza Knevone (28)—a pioneering, fierce attorney specializing in intellectual property law. Armed with nothing but yellowed heirloom manuscripts, truth, and centuries of poetic bloodline, Liza takes the stand in a precedent-setting landmark courtroom trial. Facing down systemic industry corruption and the theft of anonymous creators, she fights to restore her father’s name and reclaim her family’s stolen soul. Framed through an omnipresent Narrator (76) reading from a long-lost notebook, Author Unknown is an emotionally searing, David-vs-Goliath masterpiece where myth meets reality, and reality is unreal. Author Unknown is a father-son story proving that true love, family, and poetic justice can never be silenced. |

Her Comments, The idea of a poem changing music history is a unique twist, and the tension around the misreading of a signature and the ensuing family drama makes for a compelling narrative. The character of Arthur Knevone, the “King of Poetry,” and his connection to the royal family through his work gives the story an almost legendary feel. The element of intellectual property theft and its far-reaching consequences could also open up fascinating debates on authorship, ownership, and legacy. |

| Jacob’s Song | Author Unknown | Monody Operatic Style | Movie Soundtrack 2026 | Canadian Indie Films
Jacob’s Song, is an Original MONODY Composition for piano and solo voice by Jeari Czapla. Let me set the scene, near the end of ACT ONE, the Villain, Jacob is in his office arguing with the spirit of his deceased dad and his divorced wife. We meet Jacob at his worst moments, suffering emotionally for the validation from his deceased dad and living ex-wife. Jacob’s living out of his office while stealing the Knevone family heritage and legacy. Jacob is a classically trained pianist who can’t write Lyrics, that’s why he rips off the Knevone family poetry. Without giving away to much of the plot, here’s a rough draft of Jacob’s Song. it requires a better recording but for now, I like the piano composition, it’s Operatic, MONODY music style, and yes, I used AI pictures for the Video Storyboard as its economical for now. The Fiery Finger is my Adobe Premiere Pro video editing skills. Watch it now and hate me later,.. Whoops,.. I hear the Boss coming, I’d better get going,.. Enjoy,.. #FilmsAuthorUnknown,.. #JacobsSong,.. Lyrics: And yes, living out of my office is hard, ThanQ for your time and energy. I wish you a Wonderful Healthy Day.
